Lucas’ Art & Update

Did you know that Lucas is on a roll? He’s selling so many paintings, and yesterday we were able to make our first $50 donation to The Boston House! It’s our turn to give back, so if you are interested in any of his liquid paint pours… head over to his Facebook page! Comment SOLD in the actual picture comments of the painting you’re interested in. I don’t think he has too many left. We gotta get him working on some more very soon! They are so easy, and so much fun to make. It gets a little messy, but he enjoys being able to “dump” the paint. I call it a “pour” but I guess dumping sounds more fun. If you can’t find the paintings, they are in an ALBUM on his page called Lucas’ Art.

Lucas has reached 300 days since he had his bone marrow transplant. He is doing so well, and I am happy to report that he is doing pretty well with his new in home ABA autism therapy. We have literally waited four years for this. We are blessed and lucky. So far, so good. It’s so nice to have extra support. This means that iiCAPS will be ending, which is sad because we love our lady so much. Hopefully she stays in touch, as she has basically become part of the family.

Lucas Went On A ZIP LINE At The Zoo

Lucas is getting so big. In just 6 days, he will be 6! He had no problems with the zip line with his dad yesterday. There is a VIDEO on our youtube channel. Check that out! He was so brave. We had fun. We also saw some alpaca lovin’ going on, so yeah check the video for that little clip. That was a good gem to catch on camera, HA!

Rachel starts college in 5 days, and she will be 18 in 6. Lucas and Rachel share a birthday if you didn’t catch that in a previous post!! EIGHTEEN!? My first baby is an adult, and my last baby is going to be ONE on October 1st. I just can’t take it. Slow down kids, please. Mommy can’t keep up. Joanna was accepted to an all day preschool program at the same school Lucas goes to, and they will be on the same bus. Which is super convenient, but that will be a big change for her. I hope she acclimates well.

I am also going to take two courses this semester, as I am halfway through my associates degree. I also need to carve out time to work on my Yoga Certification. So that will be interesting. Time management is difficult here. We are also in the process of making, or purchasing some Elderberry Syrup! We need strong immune systems over here. Like, SUPER strong. My biggest fear is Lucas getting sick again. I think I will always have that fear, but today he is healthy.

Did I mention that I need a break?

I know all mom’s need breaks, but man. I’m exhausted!

Take a listen to my PODCAST – Yeah I have a podcast! I can’t wait to see if Apple approves it, and if we can get it up and moving forward! I’m stoked. I think when the kids go to school, I will be able to use proper equipment to have better sound. For now, it’s awesome to just have one started. I want to share truths, and open minds!

Peace & Chocolate,
